    ... good rate. Although we were insistent in paying for the hotel, Gernot would not accept anything.
    Well I do suppose that we did give him accommodation a few times in Africa and also New Zealand when he visited there. We were very appreciative of the hospitality.

    We decide to stay in Arzen for another night and explore this area more rather than head north. There is so much to see and do here all within easy driving distance. Herman our host has given us a truck load of brochures and maps and information its hard to know where to start.     ... having driven lots in Europe was easy. I forgot how crazy the big motor ways are, and unlike France which has a speed limit of 130km, Germany seems to have an open speed limit on these roads.     ... it had very good ratings on Trip Advisor (that's how I found it). And we thought it might be nice to go somewhere like this after the hustle and bustle of Berlin.
    It certainly was nice....we really enjoyed the couple of hours we spent strolling around and I loved seeing all the animals and the little kids enjoying them. There were so many families out enjoying the nice afternoon :)
