    ... him. One child gets
left behinds as he is lame and is the only one to remain in the town.
Hamelin does seem to love its
animatronic story telling. In the museum, evey hour you can see the
story of the Pied Piper told through the medium of bizarre
steampunk-esque, statues that represnet the townsfolk and Piper. Each
character has a musical theme and a unique look. The piper is a tall

Around 90% of Hannover were destroyed during WW2 and when I saw some of
the old houses that remained untouched it really broke my heart as I
could only imagine how pretty this city must have once been.

I hope you will enjoy the (rebuilt) remains as much as I did.

... very much the cosy bed with the soft pillow and the nice bed linen.

The breakfast was fantastic, too. You could make yourself waffles, or full English breakfast or tomato mozzarella or you could take honey out of a real honeycomb. :-) How cool is that? And you were also given your own newspaper in the morning.

... success to the main rail line that runs through it from Berlin to all points west, notably paris, Brussels and our next stop, Amsterdam. Hannover has given us our most authentic glimpse of Modern Germany. A country that we Brits have very strong ties with. We ought to really make an effort to get to know our fellow saxons… we both have a lot to learn from each other. We can teach them how to laugh at them selves, and they can teach us how to play football……

    ... but rather the personality.

When strolling around I saw a couple where he read a book and she layed in the gras listening to him. Their 2 bicycles rested peacefully against a tree. It was a lovely picture but I was too shy to take it.

Apart from from that there were many families, sometimes playing badminton, walking with the dog or having a picnique. It was nice to see all the happy people.
