... It was incredible to just walk through the shopping centre and everywhere you look you see mountains.
Once we rushed back to the hotel we were able to catch the end of the Canada-Austria Men's Olympic hockey game and we witnessed Canada win 6-0! It was very exciting to watch my home country play against my current country.
We are back to Krems tomorrow after hopefully a stop in Hallstatt!

Today we were up before 6am to start our drive to Fulpmes, Austria to go skiing. Of course it was raining once again and really dark when we were leaving Krems so we didn't get to see much of the Danube and hills surrounding Krems. The drive was just over 4 hours and we were able to pass by Salzburg and pass into Germany – although there were never any signs when entering or leaving Germany. We boarded for 4 days straight, we were sore but there was no way we were missing a day to rest. We are all determined to return to Austria again and are already planning our next trip.
What could have been potentially a very depressing, boring holiday turned into something spontaneous and awesome!!
