... Velo auf die Meiersalp gefahren und habe dort gecampt. Die Nacht war Sternenklar und die Temperaturen auch noch relativ hoch (ca. 5 Grad Celsius). Es wird deshalb bestimmt nicht meine letzte Testfahrt gewesen sein.

What nobody (really) thought to be possible, has been done. I arrive at 17:00h at the same place, where I started this journey the 30.4.2006 (click here) with the same vehicle, the same rider and complete the full scale world trip across all 5 continents happiest and well ...

... quick sites and then jumped back to Switzerland, crossed through Austria for an hour or so, and bam, were back in Germany, hehe....

Now I'm at Sebastian's brother's house, where we will go to sleep soon and visit München tomorrow...

... weren't too interested so they took Lincoln (who couldn't go with us) and we went to have a look. It was a rewarding visit. It is amazing to think how long ago some of those books and transcripts were written, and how well cared for they must be to remain in excellent condition. The library itself is breathtaking, with leather bound books lining the shelves, large windows (no doubt filtered), elaborate woodwork and staircases, and a muraled ceiling ...

We got off to a good start this morning and made our first stop in Winterthur. We walked around looking for the Old Town, and once we found it we walked around some more. We stopped for some street meat for the boys and checked out the cathedral. There are elaborate pipes ...

Just a day trip to see this old city. Lots of brightly painted buildings with ornate oriel windows. Most of the windows were carved with scenes or fancy designs, sometimes painted, sometimes both. Lots of fountains and statues. Found a chocolate shop and pigged out.

Off again from the Bronze Age village back onto the road to Uberlingen which is one of the most beautiful towns around the Lake Constance due to its views onto the Swiss Alps where we stopped for a quick lunch on the stunning lake promenade which boosts hundreds of little souvenir shops, beer gardens and things to see and do. Once again did not have time to wander around but enjoyed the waterfront promenade atmosphere while we ate.

... in the snow (up to our waist at points). Then we decided to make a snowman and climb a tree. This brings me to a very fond memory i have, first Carl climbed the tree, then i climbed after him with my, well, bascily i was wearing slippers. Then he said to me, "Jonny, if you fall, whatever you do, don't grab hold of me" any guesses what happened next? I slipped grabbed hold of Carl and we both tumbled down into the snow, an hilarious sight, Carl half a leg still on ...
