... Its very picturesque but hard to take photos of. The castle is impressive and sits on top of the hill overlooking the town and all its surrounds. Then after leaving the Castle we drove on through some lovely country, forested ares, rolling hills, lakes and farmland. Stopping near Duderstadt for the night. Out to find a meal. ... again Rupert coped with well, the worst section was a bit of Dual Carriageway around 2 miles long up hill, we managed to maintain a steady 22mph on this, but with it being May the 1st the roads weren't busy!

We think May 1st (May day) must be a National Holiday in Germany (no waiting for the first Monday like us Brits) as pretty much every town we passed through was deserted ...

... too many shows that I watch…I don’t need more addictions!!! For dinner we had turkey curry and a Bridget Jones marathon which is fitting considering the Turkey Curry Buffet was made famous in the first film. It was a pretty fun day when we really did nothing at all!

Everything was back open on the 27th which was good. We spent the day walking through Göttingen and seeing it alive with everyone around. They have a Christmas market there in the centre ...
