... until arriving at Ribeauville. We walked up the Main Street browsing the little shops and taking in the town. We noticed that the archways of the old doors had a date inscribed telling the year it was built, most of them dating before the 1700. There was one old tower which was built in the 1300s. Cindy & I went different ways today. I have had enough of Xmas markets, so stayed at Titisee today and explored this little village. It was nice to see the lake & town in daylight hours. Even had the sun breakthrough for a while. Had a walk around, took some photos, had lunch followed by a snooze after lunch. ... so fake.

We are near the border of Germany so we took a day trip to Germany.

Everything is so much cheaper. So my Mum went to basically every shop we saw.

We drove home which took 45 minuets and rested for the day.

      We went ice skating again.

It was more packed then the other times we were ...

We decided to make full use of our semester ticket which gives us free transport around the region and thus ended up at Breisach one weekend.

The weather was really gloomy, making the whole trip quite worthless. The view of the rhine river was nothing spectacular.

I guess the only time we'd be back to this place is to take a bus to Colmar.
