    Today we caught an early train for the hour and 1/2 trip to the small town of Melk, where we visited beautiful Melk Abbey. The train was a great experience for us. It's so quiet - no engine noise at all! We sat on the upper level which had big windows affording us good views of the lovely Austrian countryside, with it's rolling hills and little villages all looking very picturesque in the sunshine.
