From Heat to Snow

... stairs without feeling off but was ok out in the fresh air of the snow.

We had an awesome time building snow bunnies, skiing, tubing, sledding, throwing snowballs and even did the zip line across the top of everyone, I had to close my eyes for the initial drop but the view across amazing. It was a pretty tiring day as we headed back on the long journey down the hill. We were all pretty exhausted but it will be something we will never forget.

... my voice. By about 8pm I was ready for bed but decided it was too early so I killed another hour then went up to my room. When I got there I found the American girls were already in bed and the light was off so I had to shuffle around in the dark. That'll teach me for being such a party animal! At least it meant I could also go to bed because I was shattered!! Excited for Lauterbrunnen tomorrow, not so excited that it's going to be -9 ...

... for dinner that night and breakfast the next morning! We then went and found an information centre to get some brochures and figure out what the best hikes and tracks are to do. The information guy told us the same stuff and Adrian's friend and we drove for about 20 minutes to Grindelwald. The good walking track was to the top of a mountain called First and so we set off for there. By the time we found the bottom of the hill I was already puffing and my face bright ...

... Tuesday, and at the airport the heal broke. It was hanging off, and she had no other shoes! It was an exciting weekend watching both shoes slowly fall apart. I was in the back of the plane, while they were all at the front. Swiss airlines gave us this really good mini pie, and chocolate. They were both amazing! When we reached Switzerland, I could see the Alps out the opposite window in the plane because the sky was so clear. They were so big, and there was snow, and ...
