... on a SUP board who also put his little dog on it! Then we caught the bus back to Interlaken, bought Lyn a new winter coat in the Patagonia shop (reduced and we could pay by card in British Pounds!) and then stopped for a drink. Cue my third and final cocktail of the day while Lyn had a beer and Tegz an ice cream.

... through Gstaad) with farmhouses dotted along the hills in between. The valleys were narrow, the grass was so green, the mountain sides were steep and huge. The mist was rolling in and out. There were cows with bells, geese, sometimes sheep all grazing on the steep hills sides. The road was very windy and narrow and it seems the Swiss aren’t too concerned with staying in their lane. ... walked along the paths and saw a sign back to where I had got the cable car up. How about a walk back down, that sounds like fun, surely it was not that far. It was not until about a third of the way down that I realised that this was an epic mistake for an unfit non professional hiker like myself. At least I had changed out of my thongs earlier. It was steep....billy goat steep and my legs were not happy with me at all.
