A free day in Bellagio and then Switzerland

Sunday Oct 5 We had a free day so was able to make a late start. Walked to the headland just out of Bellagio to view the three arms of the lake. From the tourist office we took a 2hour walking tour of the suburbs of Bellagio. First stop was the fishing village of Pescallo which our hotel overlooked. It used to supply fresh fish to Como. We wandered past olive trees in the suburb of Oliverio, the furtherest point north in ...

Interlaken

A travel blog entry by seancab on May 15, 2014

Today I'm leaving Interlaken. (For some reason I was having trouble getting on this site the past couple days). A travel blog entry by jennydawson on Sep 27, 2013

We were up early though so we hoped for a weather change by the time we got up there! Breakfast downstairs was a strict affair - signs saying do not waste and no taking any food out of the dining room for later! Nice cereal though but the bread was really thick and heavy so I didn't really like it. Scott got into ...

A grey day

... I head to it first. But they won't accept credit cards and I don't have enough Euros left (I'm in bad shape if a cash-only emergency arises before I get to Germany day after tomorrow), so I head to look for a bank machine that gives Euros. This fails, so I figure I'll go look at the famous Banhoffstrasse shopping street, the oldtown, and a big church, and figure out the museum after seeing the other sights. Zurich is still cold and grey, and again I'm on a ...
