Needless to say we stayed for around 35-40 minutes in this museum before taking our 3rd trip on the 100 bus which we had managed to not pay for all day purely because there were no ticket machines. After a fantastic train journey, pulled into the main Berlin Hauptbahnhof shortly after 9am and found my way to the train to Zoologicher Garten and then a U to Nollendorfplatz. Purchased a 7 day public transport pass in Berlin which covers all forms of public transport for the time we are here for 28.80 EUR, very good value considering the amount of public transport we will use in the coming days! IM IN BERLIN! okay, so Germany has been a big one on my bucket list for a very long time, and I'm finally here, I could not be more excited. What better place to start than in Berlin. ... way to our hostel which was conveniently located right next to the main haupftbanhof. As it tends to happen when travelling, our bookings got messed up at checkin and apparently our room was booked so they graciously gave us a 5 person dorm room and booked it for us for 2 nights, privately. They even gave us a free beer! woohoo!
