... the horrors. We also went to up the Victory Column which stands in the centre of the Tiergarten a massive woodland in the centre of Berlin. The victory column had a lot of steps, I believe we lost count around the 180 mark, mainly because i was so out of breath! Once at the top though it was an amazing view over Berlin. ... for hours, Andrew the Scot and I repaired to a café for an
early supper. It is always such a gift to connect with a fellow traveller to talk about the day and what we had seen.

And then, such excitement! I had to do laundry. One downside of travelling with carry-on only is that I always seem to be looking for a Laundromat. However, missionaccomplished, and I have clean clothes for tomorrow.
