... but not all so we are slowly learning German - errr or at least the important words like Bier and Rot Weine (Beer and Red Wine).

We took a tour of the city and learned that the city was built upon embroidery back in 612 AD by an Irish monk, Gallus (I know I'm getting into history mom - can you believe it) and the town was known to be an epicenter for knowledge, so we toured a very old Monk library with all of the original manuscripts ...

Day trip from Arosa over to Liechtenstein.

Started by taking the bus through Liechtenstein to Feldkirch in Austria, having lunch, and then exploring the capital of Vaduz.

Not the biggest city, but interesting to casually walk over the border and walk around the centre seeing important government buildings in essentially a small village with lovely views of mountains.

Arriving in Zürich, we made the way down to Chur, changing trains and climbing up the open topped train to the resort of Arosa.

Some beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, one of which we climbed later in the week, whilst on another day we went over to the Landwasser Viaduct.
