      ... I wasn't that keen to go inside a grotto. But in we went, all ohhhing and ahhing. It was pretty spectacular inside, a cave inside a cave. Expected to see Johnny Depp or his dad, sorely disappointed on that score. It is very "piratey" around these parts and apparently there is a strong, and long, history of piracy in the region.       ... cat. The kids adored having more stray cats to feed and play with. They quickly developed a real friendship with one black cat that they named Jean (French pronunciation). We'd find him asleep under their beds late at night or even worse waking the kids when he jumped on their beds.       ... They were tryingto entice their SON to eat his food. Reminded us of someone.
      Sorry should have explained the pom in yesterdays blog. We kept on running into this british couple. Beach, restaurant in the street at Cagliari and lastly at the nuraghe site. By this time we were on hugging status.
      There r a lot of germans tourist. I (ann) keep getting mistaken for a german - bloody insult - sorry Mary.

      ... and 5 to Pisa. Went south around to Bonifacio, known as Corsica's star attraction, what a beautiful place, medieval castle on the cliffs, limestone walls on a peninsula around a natural harbour, now with luxury yachts (I recognised one from St Tropez; the Ice Angel from the Isle of Man - it had so many crew the Isle must be empty now) and restaurants etc. The old town is really quaint, cobbled streets, narrow houses with steep narrow staircases-easier to ...
