    ... driving to the Bald Mountain of Provence, the mighty Mont Ventoux. Drove up to get a look at the summit, dodging bike riders going up and down (some of which you felt like stopping and telling them to forget it, turn around now and no-one will know - when you are in the red zone after 2km just give it up).     ... it seems no two locks are the same. some have the bollards in completely different places. Some the switch is on the other side. Some you have to pass the radar switch fast or it doesnt see you so you have to back up a hundred meters and pass it again. Some the remote control clicker needs several goes. But as there is no one else on the river, i have time. I passed a boat going downstream early this morning. So all the locks have been left empty ...

    ... the walk is so beautiful. We waited in line for about half an hour to get in to the museum. We have discovered that it was an old train station that was converted into a museum in the 1970's. We strolled and enjoyed viewing all of the impressionist painters and sculptors.
