    ... are breathtaking. I don't think I've ever seen so much gold leaf. Each room was better than the last, and the hall of mirrors was breathtaking. After a quick look round the garden (it was raining), took the ferry to Fraueninsel. Found a cafe which only sold smoked fish, so had smoked fish rolls and beer for lunch.     ... rolling farmland, raging rivers, the whole bit, and all of it stunning.
    1 vote - Food. I reckon food has got a lot of votes during our trip, and while much of the time we ate on our camp stove, when we ventured out to the luxury of a restaurant we ate well. Duck, steak, seafood, good (and cheap) wine, cheese. Gabriel Gate would've been in his element.
    WOG - French public toilets, which have no seat, just a bowl and a lid. And French drivers are pretty stupid too.
