    Up early to tidy away. We got the awning down just as it started spitting. We said our goodbyes to the Frenchies.... Then our goodbyes to our favourite campsite....     ... a hot cup of tea. It took about an hour to sort out the luggage, put the things we needed tonight and in the morning into the duffle bag and stack the rest into the tent vestibules. Syd cooked dinner just outside the tent in the spitting rain - pasta,herrings,bolognese sauce and peas, with strawberry rice pudding for dessert. After washing up we retired for the evening - reading and checking the route for tomorrow. We soon fell asleep.

    There was a MH Aire in a nearby village but we did not feel comfortable spending the night in the area. So we drove on past Luneberg, to an Aire at Adendorf. This had been newly developed, so instead of being free we had to pay 10e. We did get free water and pump out though.
