... the gas chamber. In this area, it was surrounded by walls with just the yard in between. The windows on one building were bricked up so the prisoners couldn't see or communicate with each other. The concrete posts holding the barbed wire are original to the camp and it is hard fathom them surrounding the entire camp until you see them.
