Took the 3+ hour bus trip from Krakow to Wroclaw. Was truly amazed by the beauty of the Market Square. Enjoyed a couple of days wandering around the city and absorbing the sites.

Now let's see if you can pronounce the city's name....

... the gas chamber. In this area, it was surrounded by walls with just the yard in between. The windows on one building were bricked up so the prisoners couldn't see or communicate with each other. The concrete posts holding the barbed wire are original to the camp and it is hard fathom them surrounding the entire camp until you see them. ... to the fact that the entire square has been converted into a "Fan Zone." Being one of the host cities of the Euro Cup, Wroclaw is in full-fledged football mode, even though their national team is out. ... now that I don't have to actually pronounce it I can say Wroclaw itself, consists of a beautiful old square surrounded by a somewhat mundane mid sized city.
