The first night in the dorm flying solo was well, quiet. Then I met my new dorm friend who was French and called Flora. She thought I was French as Fleur had made the booking so she thought that was my name. It was when we were reflecting on the email we realised how little we knew about English culture, so we researched! We then set off for a walk around Wrocław. Locally, it is famous for the hundreds of gnomes dotted around the city. Nobody is really sure how many there are, ...

... a cold wait at the bus stop for a while, about 10 buses arrived at once! They all seemed to thing that the few people that were waiting wanted a different bus so would pull up for literally 5 seconds before driving off! We missed the bus because of this and that's how we ended up freezing at the side of the road for a further 45 minutes! Eventually we were on and using the very thoughtfully provided free wifi we managed to find the hostel fairly easily and make it to bed ...
