... that was exciting. We get on the train to Luzern and get to Interlaken Oust and are alone on the train everyone has left. The conductor comes by to let us know we would never make to Luzern on that train. So a run up and down stairs to find the last seat in the train to Luzern as it begins to move. ... We headed down the valley in the morning after some excellent pastries and a stop at the Farmacia for Enervit bars and sunblock. The clerk was kind of funny there. ... growing along the mountain side, even at its steepest point. Along the roadside were small stairways with a gate at the top. We assumed these were used to access the vines. The view for those who cared for the vineyard was amazing although the height and steepness may be a little nerve racking. The mountainside began to be covered in pine forest again, with pines shaped liked Christmas trees.

Once I got to Gimmelwald I knew I did not want to go to the resort at Murren, this was incredible. I took a bunch of photos and just marvelled at it all. This place was perched so high up and some of the slopes were steep with breathtaking views all around. Thankfully there were only a couple of places tourists could stay here so it was certainly not crowded at all.

The air was amazing ...
