... couldn't really see any views and parts of the centre were also closed but it was still great. We spent about an hour and a half up there and went outside into the -12 degree weather and snow storm - that was an experience!!! We also got to explore the ice palace, which was also very cold but really cool! We caught a train back down to Kleine Scheidegg and from there to Grindelwald and then back to Interlaken. ...

We passed several more cows and one restaurant twice where we had missed a turnoff and accidentally walked back in a full circle. ... discriminatory to not allow Henry up the hill.

Murren is a fairly big village catering wholly to the tourist dollar (franc) and consists of a hundred hotels and two hundred restaurants. To get to the next cable car you have to walk the entire length of the village and the temptations of the shops are barely resistible. My credit card took a beating.

The next cable car is in two stages and we were jam packed in like cattle. It's quite ...

... I got the cable cars back down the mountain and took the train to Fiesch where I planned on going up to the Eiggishorn.
As I was going up I gazed into the sky and noticed tonnes of paragliders, it is apparently the place to come and you can even do a tandem. I thought about it but just did not have the time. You can also do rock climbing and they have these suspension wires you can also test yourself on.
      Another thing that ...
