    The fitbit is a tiny piece of technology that tracks the amount of movement you've had in a day. When working in a sedentary job, this can really help to monitor the amountt of physical activity you are doing and possibly challenge you to increase it! I've seen the fitbit with a little flower that grows as you increase your activity and petals that increase in numbers proportionately to the number of steps you take in a day.

    Yesterday I took walk down to Trummelbach Falls, the subterranean waterfalls made famous in the poetry of Lord Byron. Although not as impressive as I had hoped, it was still a spectacle. To reach the depths of the caves that permeate the mountains you have to take a lift that has been cut into the rock that is a feat of engineering in itself.     ... course it was just blowing gale force winds and didn't clear. One side eventually did though and we did be some awesome views down the valley. Next stop was to get outside into the snow which is through another tunnel - story of the day was when Scott threw a snow ball at me and it turned out it was an ice block and really whacked me in the leg...not as funny as he was hoping it would be with me hopping around in pain! We did start getting some views down ...

    ... water for a bit but it was so freaking cold. after a good 3 hours at the flls, we headed back to the hostal. in the evening we joinded a group from the hostal and hand a bondfire. kind of a cool experience just relaxing, but a fire, in the alps, with some cool people. good waz to finish the daz!
