... the Eiger to the Junfraujoch, the "Top of Europe". The train stops twice for quick view stops out openings down the North Face of the Eiger (remember Clint hanging precariously from the end of his rope in the "Eiger Sanction"? We were there!). The train emerges from its tunnel at the 11,400' Jungfraujoch, where mountain climbers begin their ice and high peak climbs and sightseers in street shoes attempt to stay upright on the ice and snow at the top of ...

... early tea and a movie. We have loved Switzerland and look forward to coming back for a night in a few months. Would recommend anyone to come here and stay at Camping Jungfrau, it's amazing! Tomorrow we head back to Italy, to stay in Lake Como. Will be nice to have some warmer weather again and perhaps a swim. We will say hi to George Clooney for you all if we see him, seems to be a common celebrity holiday spot.

    Catch you in Como

The whole second half of that list above (Lauterbrunnen to Murren took less than an hour).

Dressed in our warmest clothes, we purchased our tickets up to Jungfrau; which in the end totalled 137 CHF (or 100 GBP)! We then boarded the trains to the highest station in Europe from 796 m (Interlaken) to 3454m (Jungfraujoch), the journey takes about 2 hours; despite being able to see Jungfrau from our hotel balcony! As 2012, is the 100 year anniversary of the opening of Jungfrau, there was a special DVD played when we passed through the tunnels of ...

... I got the cable cars back down the mountain and took the train to Fiesch where I planned on going up to the Eiggishorn.
As I was going up I gazed into the sky and noticed tonnes of paragliders, it is apparently the place to come and you can even do a tandem. I thought about it but just did not have the time. You can also do rock climbing and they have these suspension wires you can also test yourself on.
    Another thing that ...
