We pick up the travel blog having said farewell to Patty and Bob in Amsterdam and following a nice walk in Rembrandt Park by the hotel on Monday morning, we were picked up by our dear Dutch friend of 42 years - Puck and Ben Roncken who served in Moose Jaw in the early 70's where Ben was an exchange instructor pilot. They took us to their home in Roermond where we spent a very enjoyable and relaxing day and a half.

A Sunday lie-in today, to celebrate 6 weeks on the road. We've not missed the TV - seen nothing at all, not even a video. Unfortunately, it appears we have also missed Scotland's game attempt to stay in the Rugby World Cup.
