On our way to Cologne. We were warned about pickpockets when we arrived in Amsterdam and to watch our bags by the Tour Director. Drama began before we left. Having boarded the coach,Tour Director approached by a man who had a leather wallet of keys and showed him where he found them other side of bus. As this was my second move from a hotel during my trip I was much better packed and prepared, but was not ready for the pain that come along with the realisation of that I was leaving to go to my last activity before leaving Germany. ... graffiti, the pavements are wasting away and the people all appear to be quite grungy. Hamburg was a lot more clean and upper class. Needless to say, I approved of this contrast.
