      Eldon got up early this morning; I slept until almost 7:30. It was so nice sleeping last night. You might say I didn't have a great nights sleep because of all the cowbells and the owls.       ... makes it almost impossible to throw out trash (there is a 4 page manual on how to throw out trash and you have to buy special bags that cost $25 francs for 5), but ensures that the public transportation and train system is amazing and always right on schedule - to the second.

      Also, the entire country closes on Sunday, which isn't very good when you arrive on a Sunday with no food - let's say I was a little hangry to say the least, but ...

      Walking along a busy road, with ski lifts all around, I must say crossing this pass doesn't have quite the same raw magic as Splugenpass did. In fact, right at the very top of the pass is yet another cluster of hotels and restaurant.
