    ... After a sumptuous scallop dinner prepared by Véro we again set out to stroll the streets for the night. For a person like me who is all about go go go, this weekend was the contrary to my visiting style - and I liked it!!

    We went bar hopping from La Regie to L'impasse and then ended up at cafe des Sports...

    Before we called it a night, Véro came up with the best title for this blog the Le Touqet ...

    ... have been that it was a larger town. The information I'd been given about his headstone was accurate, and we located his burial site easily. This cemetery had been the community cemetery well before the war, with family tombs covered in names and memorials. In a separate section, crosses marked the graves of French soldiers and the occasional German one.

    ... Ports for those arriving and departing. We had another thunder storm but not as bad as the previous ones as the front seemed to be pushing through. Dinner in the Restaurant this evening, which is always nice.

    ... be moving on from Veules-les-Roses again and I think we will all be sad to leave again as it is just a really nice place that we all seem to have a really good time in. It's not a place for adventure, more for relaxing and having a lazy wander and despite the fact that we must have seen just about every street in the village it is not somewhere we have got bored with. Perhaps when we move to France this is where we will come ...

    ... and as we walked we saw and remembered more things from our first visit. We checked out the end of the shortest river in France and walked around the playground and paddling pool at the seafront and then Jess suggested we walk along the street to the shops. We all agreed and I wondered what her ulterior motive was and then Allegra worked it out, the patisserie.
