    ... tea. I noticed they also had Chocolate Teacakes (not Tunnocks, but, M&S own brand). Kathleen is very partial to Tunnocks chocolate teacakes, so, I bought a pack of 16 of the M&S version.
    Unknown to me, Kathleen stored them in the fridge, to prevent the chocolate from melting.

    It was ******* down with rain all night and all morning, so no urgency to go anywhere in a hurry. We ambled away at 12:00pm again! Once more into the breach, we tackled the Orange store at Berck-Plage to get Doug’s Orange service fired up. Again, with the help of a kindly english-speaking customer in the store translating, they got it working and, after a stop at a monster Carefour supermarket to re-provision, we headed off along the D940 coastal route.

    It was a beautiful clear morning, perfect for a hike to the Dover Patrol Obelisk on the hill above the campground. Leaving Doug in the van contemplating the state of world peace, I walked down the beach road and took the public pathway to the top, a decent heart-pumping climb on gravel pathway and steps that took 20 minutes up and 11 minutes down.
