... but we quickly got used to it and swam to the middle where there was a rocky area people could stand on. The view from the rocks was incredible! Like nothing I've ever seen before. After about 5 hours at the beach Val and I went out to eat dinner which wasn't that fantastic. My calzone was almost empty and her steak was way overdone. We decided to travel the route round the gorge again, this time the other way around and with an extended tour to Lac d'Esparron which is part of the Lower Gorges.
