... and tour volunteers. Their enthusiasm oozes! I got a gold star for remembering my O'level physics and Fleming's left hand law. At CERN they are accelerating protons at 99.999999% of the spread of light! We went to see the cryogenic testing hall. They were testing the magnet and accelerator parts down to -255 degrees C. Apparently some magnets weren't tested a few years ago and it caused 50 magnets to melt because the superconductors overheated. 3 years downtime! It does ...

... were plenty of private yachts and parklands; a group of lads were cooking up pork on a BBQ and it smelled really good. There was also water ski facilities with jump ramps and cable skiing; no one was using those facilities. There was a fenced off swimming area, but no-one was using that either. ... of the chocolate was so strong and delightful until I got a major headache from the strong smell! It was really fascinating seeing how the chocolate is produced. A lot of the machinery that they use is from hundred of years ago, one even dated back to 1907. We got to taste many different kinds of chocolate including fresh chocolate right off the line.
