... Montreux Jazz festival is on so it was quite packed. We saw a few of the touristy things to see, like the Freddy Mercury statue and the Grand Swiss Hotel where Smoke on the Water was written and recorded. Graham met another trathlete on the campsite and they decided to travel on the 7.30 bus into Geneva. An early start with number tattoos applied , sun cream on and pre race breakfast. I delivered them to the bus stop and went back to see if there was any other signs of life at base camp.
