... but it saved time and money. Not that laundries are horribly expensive but it’s still 7€ saved. Plus it’s a 30 minute walk across town, not so bad during daylight but I’m nervous about doing that when the sun goes down. Even in a pretty little village like this.

... and be off to our dinner reservation. Total distance travelled was 45km. The hotel we stayed at was called Hotel Biencourt, it used to be a school for boys and girls during the Napoleon era. The boys and girls classrooms were separated by a courtyard, we stayed in the girls section. Dinner tonight was another 4 course feast, I do not know how we will be able to eat common North American food again :)

... round. It was only a short walk to the Fortress, which was just as well because we were all feeling very replete and relaxed! (No, that is not another word for tiddly!) We were pleased to have €2 discount on the admission price because we had the tickets from the previous Chateau. The others were not so lucky at Ussé.
