la musique, qui était, ma foi, excellente). Le quartier est vraiment chramant, c'est très...artistique comme endroit. Une ambiance agréable ...

... so I returned to the yacht for a nap and to treat my sunburn. When I woke up, I was the only non-crew on the boat, and I only saw two crew aboard, the Duty Officer, and a stewardess. I found out that most of the guests and crew were at a little club/bar in Biscarrosse. So, around midnight I joined them and had a few beers before we all returned to the yacht for the night.

... and they will still be aboard when we return to the yacht. We arrived at the yacht close to 1 PM, where I grabbed a quick bite to eat and headed to my room for a nap. Wesley and I played hard in Paris and this was my first chance to recover.

Man did we chew up some tarmac today!

On the way to Bordeaux, we visited Chateau Chenonceau - a huge amazing Chateau, although the furnishings were scarse. Then we motored all the way to the coast just outside Bordeaux.

Thanks to our French speaking maid (oops Jen) we found a little hotel and had dinner down at the waterfront. We had a bit of bad luck with the first one (they refused to serve us), but fortunately, we had some luck next door.

... along the beach. Then we drove around the inlet, to Cap Ferret, where Andy hired a surfboard, and went surfing. He da man!!

While he did that, Sue collected shells, and Rochelle and I got lost in a one-road town (again)!! We had to follow the train to get back to the beach.

We drove back, having Pizza on the way, and arrived back at 10pm, so it was a very long day.

... välja sellise restorani nagu Les Pavois, mis asub täpselt sadama ääres ning seetõttu avaneb sealt kena vaade merele. Menüü on üsna mitmekesine, põhiliselt ikka kalatoitudega. Valisime 18€ eest 3-käigulise menu variandi, mis sisaldas nt mul kalasuppi (krabi kõõritas ka kausi äärel), kalapraad riisiga ning sorbett. Kõik käigud olid tõelised maitseelamused!
