... out of superlatives) As the shops opened the people flooded in from near and far. Lovely lovely shops and very well dressed people. This is definitely a haven for the rich and famous! As I am a King's kid I fitted in beautifully:) Loved the shopping opportunities - priced some things and decided to wait for Barcelona to spend some euros! We came upon a small beach area and it was so picturesque that I photographed Nicaela dipping her toes into the Riviera! Again we ...

Having woken from a good nights sleep, a healthy yoghurt and bran brekky, my driver (sorry, should have said - Nicks insistence upon being the driver for our trip and frankly my reluctance to drive on the right hand side of the road was a perfect match) set off from Nice and headed to playboy paradise of St Tropez. ... 13 of these inlets, of various colours and they are simply am-m-mazing. Deep blue water crystal clear. Fabulous drive up and around twisting roads, George was the driver thank goodness. We stopped for lunch in a little town, brilliant. Hill top villages, lovely harbours and a massive boatyard to build all those bigs yachts for St Tropez, so who needs to go there. I would not have missed this for the world and cannot stop talking about the views we saw. Enjoy my pictures ...

... I need to make a couple of comments about this ship. NCL take a pretty relaxed attitude to cruising, no set times for dining and dress code for the buffet is very relaxed. We are not able to find fault with the staff and every night we have come back to our cabin to find a different towel animal. So far there have been crabs, monkeys, elephants, bats and even a scorpion. The boat, the Norwegian Spirit, has ...
