    It's dry but its grey today. So it's tea indoors, before we drive to Brissac-Quincé. As we have found everywhere this September, the market is much smaller than our last visit. It didn't take us long to walk round, we were looking for sausages to take home as presents. They have been on all the other markets we've been to, but not this one!     Rain in the night and cloudy morning, so my cuppa was drank inside. We decided to go to the Intermarche on the way to Brissac to buy biscuits for the family, and wine for home. We had lunch at the brasserie next door. €12 for 2 courses. I had the buffet then a piece of gateaux, Dave had pizza and creme caramel, washed down with rosè.     ... which was part of the old hospital so we decided to visit the. Well worth the visit as it showed how people were treated long ago. The apothecary itself had a lot of the original medicines used in the 17th century.

    ... br> After settling in we took a stroll to check it out and found we were only about 350 metres from the impressive Chateau in Bauge. after our stroll we had decided on a restaurant which was part of an Auberge de France hotel. It was excellent.

    We had passed by Bauge a number of times over the years but as the road towards Le Man bypasses the centre we had never stopped.
