    ... site which is aimed at families, so there were a lot of children and young people around ( shock, horror!) Luckily there is a separate area just for MH's which was peaceful and quiet. The site is across the road from the sea at Ravenoville Plage, so it got very misty and foggy and we began to wonder if we had done the right thing.........

    When we arrived at La Fleche we settled in and went for a nice stroll by the river after dinner.
    There were lots of British vintage TR4's, MG's and other sports cars at the campsite. - some carefully loaded in enclosed trailers.
    It is quite near to Le Mans and they go there for track days.

    ... That night we went into the village of Durtal for dinner, a little pizzeria. Fascinating owners that gabbled away in French, we didn't understand a word, thank goodness Tony and Chris were able to translate for us! Ray ordered a ham and artichoke pizza that had scallop potato on it, a bit unusual!     A variety of activities had been planned for this day, the day of my birthday. Breakfast consisted of baguettes with home made jams, and coffee. After which, we gathered supplies for the day of bike riding ahead of us. The plan was to rent a bike each and cycle along a section of the 800km path that runs through the Loire valley.
