... town more on the Tram and Tourist train around the city. Extremely beautiful boutique shops with amazing shoes and specialist items, all of which I loved but obviously could not afford. The weather was very cold with some sunny patches, wish I bought my boots as I would have got a lot of ware out of them! Froze a bit. Caught train back to Chateau. Back to work tomorrow again, all good though , getting used to it.

Still cold and grey when we packed up and left at 9.30, but just about dry. We are staying here for another day. We aren't sure yet where we will go after this. But there are several places that we are considering, including Orleans, Blois and Chinon. It was a watery sun this morning. Lunch with Sue and Tony in Les Rairies. It is so good to catch up with someone who has been a friend for over 40 years. The rain started after lunch and we quickly did the shopping we needed before heading back to Monty. We found when we were at a previous aire, ...

... how Cointreau is made, their risqué marketing techniques that originated from late 1800s. We saw original examples of posters and marketing up to their current face of Cointreau, Dita von Teeze, an American burlesque dancer. We were then taken into the presentation room...which is really a big bar. Sophie our presenter then gave us tastings, and had us making cocktails, we ended up with 7 different drinks...and as there were only 6 of us, it was all ...
