Then as we are planning our trip to Huy to check out the Tour, I get a phone message from the older lady saying we need to pay for our room for the night...I was puzzled, and then said that we had booked to stay for 2 nights, so she said OK. A little later she called back saying they were booked out tonight, so it was only possible ...

Over a month late but start of blog finally published. DATE. Day 1. Margate to Rochefort, Belgium 350km 12 hours total, 7 hours driving The day started auspiciously with thunderstorms over SE Kent. We woke up to sound of thunder and very large drops of rain on roof of our precious new home - Herman. Nothing like leaving in style. And this indeed maybe nothing like leaving in style. The rain held off until we had unplugged and de-rigged.  We woke at 6am and were driving away ...
