    ... so they could be identified. I asked for a slice of a creamy blue cheese (blue cheeses go from soft and creamy to hard, and from mild to very strong), and two goat cheeses which are among my wife's and my favorites. One one fresh and soft, the other slightly aged and firmer. All were delicious.

    I covered many miles today and after such a pleasant meal, I'm sure I will sleep well tonight.

    ... Bought a ceramic salt and pepper pot from this amazing ceramic shop. Had a dispute over which was the way down with Sue so we went our separate ways.     ... thought her leg was broken. She kept saying "thank god it wasn't my head". I agree.

    Our final day we spent canoeing down the Dordogne River. The currents were much stronger than we thought and we pretty exhausted when we finished. We raced Mummy, Ally and Tilly and they almost beat us at the end. Tilly is a good cox. She's loud and very very bossy. Ally and Mummy had scary looks on their faces.
