This morning we docked around 7:00 just out of St Tropez. We had ordered pre-breakfast 'tea' etc and enjoyed it on our balcony as the sun rose. It was balmy and idyllic! At 7:30 we met the family for our proper breakfast - eggs, berries, and whatever - so that we would have enough energy for the arduous day ahead :) On to the 'tender' by 9:00 and over to the city. ... it was. Domestics decided cooking was not on the cards today so we popped to a local pizza restaurant where we enjoyed a good Italian feed. After our tour we continued our drive to a small town called Comps-sur-Artuby. We found the most amazing restaurant for dinner where I had zucchini flowers stuffed with a salmon mousse for entree. For mains I had slow cooked roast lamb with roast garlic, zucchini, eggplant, tomatoes and potatoes – the meat was melt in your mouth. This meal was everything that I imaged you would get in France at a small restaurant.
