    ... for the train to Bordeaux where we will change trains and head to La Rochelle for 2 nights before we say goodbye to them and start on our cycling tour. Now that we're out of the sun and not moving around much, we're all a bit tired so there will probably be some gentle snoring occurring on the train in is afternoon ;). The train journey started slow, had a bit of a panicked rush in the middle and ended slow. After about a 2 hour wait ...

    Today we headed to Lezignan-Corbiere to meet up with our wine club friends. We overnight here before taxiing to Argens Minervois to take charge of a penichette for 7. What a hoot! We catch the train from Toulouse and spend about 90 mins watching beautiful scenery before our stop. We arrive at 2:15pm and we're currently in the restaurant near our hotel waiting for the owners to arrive so we can check in. The restaurant owner is very friendly, ...

    ... then take our seats aboard. Turns out to be a tour with only French commentary, no biggy, that's what I expected and we're really here for the scenery. Off we go, pass through 3 locks, spent 20 mins waiting at one for a boat coming the other way. While the boat has a canopy, we have to pass under several very low bridges. The canopy drops to suit the bridge height, often being just above our heads which seemed to make some of the other passengers ...
