The market was good for a small town. Consisting of fruit, veg, meats (fresh and cured), cakes/breads as well as a variety of ornaments, clothing and even mattresses and doonas! We bought a beautiful salad bowl and cheese board made from 200yr old olive wood. The grain and colour is incredible. The kids ...

Great views, large well appointed house with underfloor heating, wood fire (with plenty of wood outside), excellent ...

... on the side. After a kind French man showed us the where they were we were good to go. The train is AWESOME! After we got going I turned on my GPS on my phone and got it clocking 220kph! So smooth and quiet. Remarkable experience. So it's off to Toulouse where we are staying a couple of nights before picking up our hire car and heading into the French countryside for another week of ...

... br> Arrangements were made for us to meet up with Thierry again on Saturday morning where he will take us on a walking tour of Montauban followed by lunch at his home and then a trip to the nearby city of Albi in the afternoon.

It is times like this you realise the benefit of being a member of an organisation such as the IPA as it provides not only the opportunity to have a local contact to show you around but also a friend in every place you ...
