late lunch at the redesigned McDo
arranged for a taxi for transport for tomorrow. asked to make sure they will take a credit card--don't have enough Euros.
bummed that the free shuttle doesn't start early enough. The taxi will pick us up at 4 am.
... away, called for navette. Got checked in at hotel. Went to pool. Hot, but dark clouds in the sky.
Walked to commercial center to have dinner--only a couple places open. I had shrimp curry & Hunter had pho. We both drank iced green tea. We thought about seeing "Maleficent" at the movies, but it only plays at 11:15 am each day. Bummer.
... a guided cycling tour around the reservoir for free - it was very enjoyable with a bit of rolling hills, for a half hour ride on Giant mountain bikes, so quite a good ride!
The weather was also great as it was cloudy and a bit cooler. In the afternoon when we drove to the airport, it started pouring down with a storm!
We got a slight sleep in, but still woke up fairly early. We had to do a bit of work: clean the kitchen and polish the table. We had a big breakfast of eggs and sausages and rolls and then cleaned the kitchen a bit. We polished half of the table then left it to air. Our room had a lovely view of the square, but the downside was we awoke early due to the fact that we could hear the rubbish truck and the noise outside our room. Went down for breakfast which was either a buffet or continental. Went for a walk around town and stopped for coffee. Paul got a call from Georgia to say that she had arrived at the hotel. Rosie went back and meet her- she was walking fast and was excited to see her little girl (and Ben) after 18 months. ...
