    We left our luxurious campsite reluctantly and are now back in France where our adventure began. The drive was long, but interesting. We passed by Lake Constance which looked very nice as a place to visit. The Zepplin was invented there and there are museums and airship rides! We saw two airships over the lake.     After breakfast in Colmar we set out for the Montagne des Singes, or monkey mountain. R wanted to interact with the residents. It was only about 30mins drive, into the Vosges Mountains just to the west. There are 200 Barbary macaques all roaming free, and you get to walk around with a handful of popcorn feeding them.     ... called the maneater. Sad stuff. From there headed into Colmar, the bigger town of the area. A really beautiful place. Half timbered and stone houses and flowers everywhere. Had a really nice look around, and then spent the night in a really nice hotel, the Turenne. Took a salad down to the town square about 8pm and listened to the live music and watched people. ...
