Hence, Hansel and Gretel. On Wednesday we drove to Ribeuville where rented a couple of more efficient bikes than the day before and took off on a tour of the nearby Alsatian villages. Along the way we passed through several 'tres belle' little towns and a seemingly unending landscape of ...

... Altarpiece. Another beautiful painting was the Virgin in a Rose Garden by Schongauer. The colors of both artworks were gorgeous. Of all the places we visited, I would enjoy living in Colmar.

That evening we enjoyed a farewell dinner on the Mani. We had a wonderful trip and hope to sail with Viking again. We arrived in Basel, Switzerland after dinner. Our flight left the next morning at 7:00 a.m. It was a short night and a long flight!
