- Should we simply follow the Brits into war in S Africa. One line said...not our fight, they are simply fighting to keep hold of valuable minerals rights in S Africa. The Boer War is not for us...sounds familiar

... all year round. It didn't feel that cold but we did have our jackets on. It was very wet and dark and luckily we don't suffer from claustrophobia!! There were lifts to take us back to ground level thankfully, as it was hard enough walking down the stairs to the underground river. Back home we enjoyed some French Onion Soup and a baguette for dinner. Not bad for tetrapak ...

The classic roof here is made of stone and weighs 500-800 Kg per square metre. They said it costs around 1500 Euro per sq metre to build today, but will last 300 years. Only one person is out of pocket

The weather was heating up so we deviated to look at some of the shops and I managed to find a pair of denim shorts and a t-shirt to add to my new summer wardrobe.
