... granddaughter fix for one evening here in France. [Miss you, Shire, Freya & Amelia!]

Sylvie and CÚdric served us some wine from the vineyard for which Sylvie now works, and several very tasty dishes- Jambon PersillÚ, a spiced ham cooked in gelatin and chilled, two homemade soups (Thanks, Sylvie!), and wonderful local cheeses, including one made with marc de Bourgogne. ... C******nay from Gevrey-Chambertain, made a perfect meal. Half an hour to nap and the girls are off shopping again to meet back for dinner which was a light left over affair with cheese to accompany the bottles of Pinot Noir that seem to disappear with such pace, we can hardly keep count. Retiring at 9:00pm we eagerly look forward to the Canal Du Centre tomorrow on our way to ...
