      ... resort of Risoul. A fairytale setting, you could never grow tired of. Throughout our days in the French Alps we attempted to ski by day and party by night...of course the later we nailed, as for the skiing... alcohol consumed definitely hindered performances on the slopes.


      Now I would love to write that after a week on the slopes we were all professional-like skiers who had developed the profound ability to parallel ski and nail ...

      A little further on I stop at a junction when I see an old guy standing by his Kawasaki 550. This is Emil from Belgium, 73 years old he tells me proudly and riding the Alps since he was a nipper.

      A short walk into town to get supplies and check out the gear shops...disappointed on bike hire prices so decided to stick to a bike with a motor, it's tricky mixing the two... Nanno nap and after a refreshing shower felt like a ride - so up the mountain we went. It was quite late and the sun was setting - providing amazing panoramic views of the surrounding mountains...
