Upon arrival, she immediately started feeling better. We went to meet up with our friends who had rented an apartment and offered to let us steal one of the unoccupied beds. It was this day that my infatuation for this sport has reached critical mass! I still ( two weeks later) spend so much of my time thinking about how to get back to a mountain and ride some more! I think proximity to a ski resort will be one of the things that stand out on all future job perks!

... We couldn't have asked for better first guests, Kyaw and Beth! We spent everyday skiing with them and became quite close. Leo and I really enjoyed skiing with them and we have stayed in touch since! Kyaw is training to be a doctor and Beth is a Japanese interpretor, both really interesting people! They have invited us to their flat in Wimbledon when we get back which would be really nice!
Leo and I have greatly improved at skiing!! We had four private lessons ...
... and it's really fun playing with them! Although sometimes a bit tiring!!
We have had today and yesterday off. Leo and I took the puppies on a really long walk to Allemont and around the Lake. It took 4 hours! I felt really good for it afterwards, we definitely deserved our tarteflette last night! I think we will start work next week. We really can't wait to start skiing! We just need to wait for the snow to settle!!
