    Spent £149 on Road Tolls (mostly in Norway)

    Paid to stay at 28 camp sites (Mostly ACSI sites, except Norway)

    Average cost per day covering everything was £49.95

    Was it worth it....Oh Yes! Would we go again? Certainly, to a number cities along the route and we will definitely to return to the Arctic Circle to see the Northern Lights.

    Hope you enjoyed the Blog; we are already planning our next trip.

    Wow, it is beautiful down here, quite different to the Loire region, it is quite rural with the rugged Pyrenees in the background and bordering Spain. Diana's forefathers came from the south of France so we drove 6 hrs to Buzy near Pau to stay and get the feel of her great grandfather's place.     ... in S Korea. We had booked a restaurant which had a choice without chevre for Di, and the marching bands ambled by outside. Great to see the mixture of ages in the town band.     So, not a communication problem at all.

    After this success he ordered our coffees at a cafe/bar on Sunday morning in Fontenay. I suppose we should have been grateful to find a cafe open at all but it was decidedly lukewarm and tasteless. However - he did at least get what he asked for.

    The rooms open on to each other with vast armoires, cabinets and pianolas furnishing different rooms.
