Day 4 - Monday, 8th September, 2014
After a few cups of coffee we rode through beautiful Luxembourg countryside, in a south eastly direction, until we reached the town of Remich which is on the Moselle River. A short ride across the bridge located there saw us in our 4th country in 3 days, Germany.

After the boat tour we had some free time to walk around the city. I walked around with Denisse, Caro and Mariela and we first went to see the cathedral and then walked around the city. Strasbourg was really nice and we got to see the outside of the European Parliament and it kind of reminded me of DC, but more European looking. We walked around the river and ...
... we find an intact castle so we headed for the hills. Our navigation skills weren’t that good so we managed to do a mountain hike in search of the castle, only to find it was down the hill on the edge of the nearby suburb. We couldn’t go into the castle itself but we explored the grounds which were surrounded by acres of vineyards.
