... and, as usual, got lost in Zurich. I knew basically where the campground was - I just needed to find the lake. It's a pretty *********************** to miss, but I still managed to go in circles for a while.

I eventually pulled into a servo and got some real directions and then I was back on track in no time.

The campground was quite crowded but the tent sites were just metres from the water's edge and it looked like it was going to be ...

... quick nap ended up lasting till 3am!! Crazy...I woke up periodically but never left the bed. Up and adam at 3am, and I unpacked my stuff. Now my place is not very all, but that was to be expected. Take me out of my quiet suburb townhouse and put in me in a small space with noisy traffic outside my window, and it's gonna take some adjusting! haha!

... of them even have play areas on them. after a lovely home cooked dinner (swiss sausages are really nice), we wandered around the old medieval part of town, drinking from the ancient water fountains and soaking up the swiss atmosphere. slept like logs!!! (are very disappointed that we can't spend time with Mike aswell, but sadly his father passed away and he's had to return to New Zealand for a couple of weeks. we may see him on the last night.)

... also all had a strage look at us, most of all at my Dad. A bit after we came to the conclusion that all the other wanderer spoke about my Dad because I as girl carried a huge backpack and he as a man nothing! ... None of our pictures do the scenery justice. After we rode the scooter around town, did some window-shopping and ate some fondue. The train ride back flew by and we slept well that night. It felt good to sleep in the next day and we spent it walking around the little nearby town of Zug.
