Went for a walk down through the town for late brekky/lunch. Come back to hotel about 1300 and started to pack suit cases and get things organized for our journey up to visit Ricarda in Greifswald. And finished loading our clean laundry into our bags. We got to Amsterdam central with lots of time before our next train. We asked in the international office what platform we needed, that our tickets were good to go and checked that we didn't need a reservation. She said everything was good, go ...

... Alpincenter.

3. Gipfelbahn: a huge gondola with only two large cars and two towers that took us up to the Gipfelwelt 3000, the building near the top of the mountain.

We first visited the "Top of Salzburg", the highest viewing platform in Austria at 3029 meters (9940 feet)! It was very cold outside at only 39 F, but we didn't care because the Austrian Alps were spread out before us.

We next went through ...
