Today we cruised the famous stretch of the Rhine River with its many castles. No other river in the world has a greater concentration of castles than the Rhine between Koblenz and Bigen. We also passed the Loreley Rock where the Rhine has its narrowest and deepest stretch. After arriving in Andernach we went by bus to Burg ...

With a final, wrenching twist, the walkway disconnects and falls into space. And with it, the gypsy falls too, tumbling, flailing his arms and screaming in ...

Getting to Cologne (11886km)

This was pretty much our longest drive in a day, about 600km. We sped down the German motor ways, particularly me. I thought it would be a great opportunity to see how fast the Audi would go. Not very responsible of me, I know but it did keep me amused. The result was, I was still gaining speed easily as I passed 180KM (112miles/hour) but wimped out it after that, it was too fast for me. I was glad we were not heading the other way, as there were two giant ...
