... high end and low end..... And guess what today was the day Rob bought my replacement engagement ring.... It's beautiful, big and unusual...I love it. (of course there is a picture).

So now I was happy, we had lunch at a little bar (which was like a maize inside).... Rob had black pudding with apple mashed potatoes and fried onion and I had Mettwurst, Sauerkraut and mashed potato. SO yummy.

This morning some of us went on a bus/boat/walking tour of Amsterdam. Jet lag caught up with Anne and she was not able to come. I had forgotten how beautiful the old city of Amsterdam is, and it was very different seeing it from touring along the canals. I didn't realise how many houseboats there are lining the canals. Our guide said that they only pay mooring fees of €1,000 per year but ...

... Europe into the southern hemisphere, to South Africa and South America, and when it gets colder there, I will be on my way up to the northern hemisphere again. North America and North-East Asia, and when seasons change again, I go south to Australia. When I get back to Europe it shall become summer here again. That is a whole lot of sun for me. :-)
