More shopping today and general pottering. We needed to get Brooke assessed as her tonsillitis needs sorting out. As luck would have it she would she was just starting to feel a little better...lol After the doctors we headed off for lunch and headed to an Tex Mex restaurant - looking for simple meat and veggies. "The best steak in Amsterdam" was a bit over cooked and meh! But it was a change from bread, bread and more ...

The other famous sight is that of 'the ladies' peep shows,in the widows, hanging out the doorways with not much on. We ended the day with a trip to a genuine working windmill. ... white beer. Important distinction, because we ordered 2 beers here that Nate said tasted like quintessential Belgian beer and I really disliked both of them! At least now we know. :) The food menu was small with basically a cheese plate, steak, quiche or lamb stew on it. Everyone was eating steaks so we went for it. And it was about what you'd expect from $18 steak in a bar. Nate's was way undercooked and hard to chew so he ate some of his and some of mine. Mine wasn't ...

... of a ride before dropping us off. Anywho woke up this morning with all of our cash and possessions in our hotel which I am grateful for because being out of your mind lost in Amsterdam in the middle of the night isn't that fun.. In fact it was rather scary. We had a great night though and I will remember those hard belly laughs for quite some time. This morning we were a bit slow, but we went and visited the Amsterdam Harley Davidson shop before jumping on the road and driving about ...
