      A sumptuous breakfast buffet at the hotel, then a brisk walk to the Haarlem Central station to catch a train into Amsterdam. The train was clean, quiet, and quick. We saw our first modern windmills, tall white wind turbines just as we have seen in Washington, Nebraska, and Iowa. We saw farms with fields and pastures with sheep, cows or horses.       We arrived into Amsterdam Central Station a bit later than we were supposed to because our train had technical issues and therefore couldn't go any further than the Schphol airport stop (the stop before Central Station). It is unheard of that Thaly’s trains break down (so we were told later).
