This museum depicts art from "The Dutch Golden Age"(1600s), so Van Gogh actually visited there to study the great Dutch masters. Tim enjoyed the depiction of every day life in the Netherlands. Interesting but not on the top of the list of things to do, if I were to go again. Next stop was the Sex museum, quite interesting to say the least. Will not go into detail on the blog. After that visit it was on to ...

... a rather historical housing area with narrow streets. Like everywhere else in this city the streets are littered with bicycles. Every bridge, lamp post or absolutely simply anywhere a bicycle can be left!! It was impossible to walk on the sidewalks and so I simply walked in the road and then a car comes along and gives you the beep beep to simply get out his way!! Where the hell is one suppose to walk I wonder???

Finally I find myself in the area of Jordaan and was expecting loads ...
