... down on you, and a hose that shot out water pretty powerfully. The building also had rooms where you could sit on a lounge chair and look out a small square window to see the beautifully framed Swiss Alps. My favorite space was the outside bath, because it was a perfectly warm and comfortable temperature and steam was produced because of the contrast between the outdoor temperature and the water temperature which created an interesting experience because at times it ...

1Day 278 2 hrs, 3 kms I'd always thought of Switzerland as being a very secular, non religious country. Well, today's Sunday, so let's see if that's true or not. To my surprise, I see several churches that look quite full--and not just old people, folks in their 20s and 30s too. Landquart is ...

I just need to find a Hofer every now and again and stock up. I notice the people here. For the first time here in Switzerland, I see a significant percentage of immigrants. Somali, South Asian, Arab. But they all look classy and respectable. Obviously I can't tell by a short observation, ...

... and scree came tumbling down the moutainside at some point, and it looks like more could come at any time. So I cross the river once again, and pose for my videoclip with the village and the cliff in the background, then go for a closer look. Well... it's not as bad as it seems. The cliff is a little ways back, so it's doubful that, even if another landslide came it would do direct damage to the village. Still looks pretty weird ...
