... managed to park as far away from the center of town as possible so that we would find the opportunity to take a walk.

Not only is Livigno in Italy, but it is also a tax free zone, so prices of many items are quite cheap. Diesel for example was only 0.85 Euro/lt instead of around 1.60 Euro in Switzerland. So we took the opportunity to fill up.

... heading down to Lago Palu and then back up to Alp Grum.

A spectacular hike that left us tired but happy.

On the way back it started to rain and we stopped at Pontresina to buy some food for a planned supper with Stef and Jan. After standing in the rain for 20 minutes the bus eventually arrived to take us back to our camp.

The evening was spent eating a curry supper at Stef's house.
