... and catches a rat mole if he still feels peckish! As soon as the better weather comes, I will work on Poppy sleeping outside with Clyde. I am sure he will teach her to hunt and allow her to share his bed in the woodshed. They have already spent a couple of nights together inside and haven’t managed to injure each other, so it should be ok. So I think, apart from the chickens, no more animals for us.

Lourdes is now in the throes of a grotto rejuvenation campaign, and there is construction all around the grotto. The statue of the Virgin Mary, white and blue, still looks out from the shelf where she is supposed to have appeared, but now she overlooks the bulldozers.
