And due to the weather the ski lifts were closed and were projected to stay that way for the next week or two. As Zermatt was a ski resort town I couldn't afford to stay for long, so I had to move on. At least I saw a lot of St Bernard's. I made plans to meet a friend in the Czech Republic, so I had to start making my way to Prague. I broke ...

... in downtown Vienna. One of many Palaces, Mozart played here for this family. We heard an amazing concert of Viennese professional musicians and performers play Mozart and Strauss compositions on violin, cello, viola, piano, piccolo, and a little larger violin(?). Also there were opera singers and ballet dancers. It was a special treat. ... designed to carry a large wheeled suitcase along. I ended up carrying it. We were going to catch a taxi but we decide to risk it and use the metro instead. A quick couple of minutes investigating the stops we needed. All worked fine and in actual fact we have never had too much trouble with any city's public transport. We were way too early to book in and so we left our luggage at the hotel and walked around a bit. We called home as our kids are not missing us very much ...
