      ... eighteen months old - the dog not the guide - and was under training. The owner had been funded 6 months off work by a sponsor of the rescue dog.       ... comes to the door. I try several times, and knock as well but to no avail. I am at a loss at what to do next. There is a phone number listed but I don't have a European SIM card. I sit on the staircase and just wonder what to do. I knock on some of the neighbouring doors to see if they might ring the number for me, but no answer there either.
