We are tied up in this town and presently about 45 minutes from Dinner. Today was a wonderful day, especially with the return of my iPad. We did a walking tour of the town and saw many Roma ruins and in particular a Temple built for Augustus Livia. Apparently this is one of only two in France, the other being in Nemes. We also saw the Church and Museum of ...

Some great views and nice to have ...

Our ship arrived in Belleville, France overnight. This morning we left the ship at 8:15am for a wine tasting and visit to Oingt. We had a lovely drive through the very picturesque French countryside (although we did pass 3 Macdonalds on the way!) We drove along some narrow country roads and wound our way past the vineyards and the bus had a few tight squeezes through some small French towns. We arrived at the vineyard where ...

... to the top of the lookout where there was a water tower and took some pictures in the windy weather. Philippe gave us a piece of artwork he had painted of crushed cans - it will be a challenge to get home but such a beautiful gesture and definitely something we will treasure. Afterwards the boys were dying to get back to the girls and Julien so we followed them home to Sandrine's parents' house. There we had a simple, ...
