The Eurostar wizzed us back to Paris to Gare du Nord and we used the wonderful Paris metro system to find our ATC hosts in the Latin Quarter (the 5th arrondissement). It is a lovely part of town, nice and clean, quiet and near to so many options. Our hosts Sylvie and Pascal warmly welcomed us into their apartment and we felt immediately at home. Although it had rained a little over night it was a dry and cool morning to set off. We were going to Nevers which is an ancient city with quite a bit of history to it. It has so many church spires that it got the nick name of the pointed city. It is the capital of its region and so we plan to stay 2 nights to catch up with chores as well as sightseeing.
