    Hi lovely people,
    As you all know we started hitchhiking on monday. We started in Antwerp and are know in the south of France, it took us three days to get here in Nyons. The people we met in the past days were incredible and very helpfull, all except the people in Paris. They were rude, not helpfull at all and hitchhiking out of Paris was like the Blair witch project movie all over ...

    ... I discovered that the Monte Carlo rally goes along this route.     ... of hairpins where trucks have to reverse and then we arrived. Car park had a dozen cars / vans, rain was threatening...and the sign said closed til 3pm!! Not to waste an opportunity, we went for a walk to see the closed abbey but also had a good look at their beautiful lavender plants...see photos. All just starting to flower. They are everywhere in Provence, even on road side verges.
