... walked down to the lake and hired 2 more pedalos and this time we had had the foresight to bring some rope so we tied them together and set off. Provence..normal holiday has resumed

The other style of holiday has been great but 1-2 nights and moving on is hard. This is more what I like and it is even better that it is Provence - deep blue sky, orange terracotta roofs, lovely warm sun..with hotter weather to come

... fields of lavender and little villages. After a bit we got to Moustiers-Ste-Marie and what a spectacular location for a village. Behind it was some sheer cliffs and the village was seemingly built into this and hanging onto the edge. We weren't sure where we going to stay here and had decided on a stop at the tourist information place in town to see what activities were on offer as we knew there was a lake and gorge close ...
