Lots of travel on what can only be described as shockin roads in Belgium was a little boring at times. But the strawberry flan, The Twits, a great swim followed by a superb pasta were the highlights for me. Yup the first day went well. Good job we were so early because there was plenty of space for me to drive across all the lanes to the right one. The controllers looking out from the tower must have been having a chuckle. We still had plenty of time for breakfast in our new home. Smugness set in whilst we had ...

An easy day in a lovely town

A travel blog entry by dutchnomad on Apr 08, 2015

I wake up to a beautiful sunshine. It was a cold night. I take some time breaking up so the sun can dry my tent. Today I aim to reach Florenville. I start hitchhiking. The first men that picks me up is heading for Florenville. Looks like I'll be early. I'm sorry, I used to know the men's name. It was on my previous iPhone which I lost. I had to rewrite these entries from memory. Anyway, the man speaks French, Dutch and English. He taught English and Dutch on a high ...
