... 12 we had done a measly 25 odd km, and I wasn't really feeling it.
Every town seemed somewhat abandoned, and then youd come across a shop that just blew your mind. At some point we found a shop that restored and sold vintage motorbikes. In the middle of no where.

... 3 was probably a little over ambitious. Nigel and R2D2 took off a little late but overall it's been a good first day. Lots of travel on what can only be described as shockin roads in Belgium was a little boring at times. But the strawberry flan, The Twits, a great swim followed by a superb pasta were the highlights for me. Yup the first day went well.
