... us felt like it had no soul. There was no heart or life to the town. The temperature is still in the high 30s and it really saps your energy. The sun rises early and doesn't set until after 10:30pm. The twilight time between 8 and 10 is the best time to go for a walk. It cools down and it's very pleasant. Peter has decided on some sort of growth thing on his face, I suppose you would call it a goaty. I suppose we are on ...

The rain held off until we had unplugged and de-rigged.  We woke at 6am and were driving away ...

Today we travelled the 192 miles to Charleville Mezieres in the Ardennes. The autoroutes were slightly busier than usual due to it being May Day weekend in Europe as well as the UK. We encountered a few showers enroute but the weather cleared up and we wandered into the attractive town centre to listen to live music and buy a few locally produced items at a Beer and wine festival. The temperature was a modest 15 ...

Today we had a great day just cruising around the wonderful camping ground that we are staying at. We are staying at a park where Opa's great Niece Mandy works and she is excited to see us as we are the first of her family to come and see where she works in Belgium. We are staying in a wee cabin at the grounds which has 3 bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and living area. It ...
