Another Australian guy arrived to stay a few days. Chris had just completed a 10 day organised motorcycle tour of the Alps and it was interesting to hear his views. We are all heading off tomorrow to join a crowd of German Ulysseans in the Vosges region of France - about 280 kms south.

We did an epic 250+kms through the most gorgeous countryside, past crystal lakes and deep into dark forests. [Pete you would have loved it]. We did a huge loop into France and stopped for coffee and cake and then lunch high in the forest.
Excellent day with excellent company and came home to wonderful home-cooked meal by Wally.
