What a neat city! We didn't have a great first impression, since the taxi that took us from the train station to the hostel tried to charge us the equivalent of $120 for a 7 minute cab ride in the Romanian currency (we ended up paying 10 euros which was like 5x too much anyways but better than 100!) My last post was from Timisoara, Romania (pronounced TimiSHoara). The plan was was to get up super early and catch the 6:30 am train to Budapest. But I decided in the evening that this was a bad idea, and I should let myself sleep in a bit and take the bus, which is much faster (2.5 hours-4 hours) and probably more ...
